My change camp idea is for people to be themselves. The reason why I believe that this would be a good change is because if people were themselves then they would not be forced to do things that they would not normally do had they not been influenced by someone or something. People do things every day that they normally would not do because of the need to be someone they are not, to be someone more important, to fit in, or because they are told to. If people were themselves then this would allow for everyone to accept everyone else for who they are. If everyone accepted everyone for who they are then when people have ideas that may better the world they would not be taken lightly. For example, Darwin’s evolution theory was during a time that anything other than believing in God was looked at as blasphemy, had Darwin have not chosen to be himself and express his view of the world than perhaps our world would have never changed and had the option of another belief. When people are themselves it truly emphasizes freedom, and as a free country we should be able to be and do as we please as long as it follows the law. If people were to be themselves, not judge others, do things that they would do on their own, and accepted everyone else for who they are, our world would be a better place and would grow in a positive direction.

“One Laptop Per Child is a Neo-colonial Trojan Horse”
I do not believe that One Laptop Per Child is a neo-colonial Trojan horse. First of all, this company is not overpowering the developing countries by giving them technology. I believe this because the whole idea behind OLPC is to donate to the developing countries to give the youth in these countries a technological opportunity to have almost the same privileges that kids in developed countries have. This will essentially help all developing countries receive better education because they have access to the internet, communication with others that have the OLPC around the world, and to their teachers. If this is to be called neo-colonial, than any donation from anywhere around the world to anywhere is neo-colonial.
Another point that I would like to make is that the Trojan horse was a symbol of peace for 2 weeks when there was war in the bronze age. Due to history it has been made to a sign of overpowering or destroying the country that the “gift” has gone to. Overall, this is just a simple charity that gives other countries the same opportunities as the developed ones and instead of one child getting cities, sections, villages, etc are given them all at the same time so no one is left out.

"Ipad Revolutionary?"
The ipad is not a revolution in any way. It is simply a bigger version of the iphone and itouch. Everything that the ipad can do can be done by the iphone and itouch with the proper apps, and any new apps is sure to be available for the iphone and itouch. To say it's revolutionary is an exaggeration simply because everything they are claiming it to be revolutionizing is available in similar devices. It's main use would be the internet, notes, easier use and so on, but all of this is already in the iphone and itouch and they are smaller so there it is easier to carry around and use for business people as well as the average person.
The ipad requires plug-ins for everything, making it extra fees for everything. Since it is bigger it will make it more difficult to hold in your hands and type, creating possibilities for awkward hand positions. Basically I believe if people are really interested in getting net books or tablet PCs made by apple they would be better off with an iphone or itouch.

"Does Social Networking Websites Connect or Disconnect People"
Social networking websites such as twitter, facebook and myspace disconnect people. These websites disconnect the physical "connection" that people have when they are in person and socializing. Communication technology is advancing and as it advances people are losing their social skills. For instance, it is easier for people to send messages on facebook or texting all day instead of having a five minute phone conversation and its easier to have a phone conversation rather then taking the time to go and spend time with the person you want to talk to.
The fact that technology is meant to make our lives easier doesn't mean that it is the only way that people should be communicating. Sure, facebook and networking websites make it easier to talk to people across the world, and it is easier for people to talk over facebook rather than meet in person because you can talk to everyone you need to talk to in three minutes and sign off and you can come back to checking their response when ever you feel like. But it takes away from the need to go and see people because it is just "easier" to message someone. Overall this is a disconnection because people do not physically communicate.

"Rules For Radicals Response"
None of the Rules For Radicals by Saul Alinsky actually inspire me. I feel he has made these rules as inspiration for "weaker" people to communicate with "powerful" people and I am not inspired by these rules.
